Microsoft Internet Explorer still has the largest market share

According to a recent report by Net Application, IE still has the largest market share. Microsoft Internet Explorer controls 65.71% of total market share. Firefox controls 23.75%, Safari controls 4.24%, Google Chrome controls 3.17%, Opera controls 2.19% and Netscape controls 0.35% of the total market share.

Though Firefox is catching up first due to massive improvement of its pluggins and better css support with good stability and security the report proves that Firefox still needs time to catch up with IE.
